Pivotal Hire was founded under the belief that technology recruiting should be a positive experience for everyone involved, not fraught with disappointment and unmet expectations. Pivotal Hire's role is that of a catalyst and facilitator in the hiring and job search process, providing you with enough information so you can make informed decisions. More so than anything, we will keep your best interests in mind as we're working on your behalf.
Recruiting is more than just matching buzz-words to a job description. It’s about fitting all of the pieces together, even the intangibles. We will work with you in a deliberate fashion to not just match a skill set, but a passion to an industry, and a personality to a company culture. Our communication will be transparent and we will take the time to listen to your needs and ensure you are matched with the most suitable opportunities. From that point we will walk you through every stage of the interview process up to negotiating your salary.
Pivotal Hire takes a low-volume approach to recruiting, which means that you will only see candidates from us who are thoroughly vetted for your opportunities. Before we begin the search process we will meet with you at your office to get a thorough understanding of your needs as well as get a feel for the office culture and environment. Once the hiring process is underway we manage everything from scheduling interviews, reference checks and pre-closing candidates to ensure a smooth hiring process.
Robyn is a native of West Los Angeles. She grew up on the outskirts of Santa Monica and has never lived far from her roots.
She's been fortunate enough to have a wide variety of experience in the business and recruiting fields. Her business career started off in a 30k person company and evolved into working for a mid-size recruiting agency. From there she moved down to a smaller search firm before starting her own. With that background she's been able to cultivate the best aspects of each and mold her own organization from those experiences.
The breadth of her recruitment practice has also been shaped by the types of companies with which she's worked. Those organizations span from Fortune 100 companies, mid-size companies all the way to VC funded early stage start-ups in Silicon Beach. Each type of industry, growth stage and company size has their own unique needs and cultures that she's able to identify in order to find the best talent.
While most of us have to work to pay the bills, Robyn likes to think that there are more intrinsic reasons that we stay in a certain field or career path. For her, helping people find a job that truly makes them happy is what gives her the most fulfillment in this business.
